The Solutions
Design to Disrupt & Reimagine Education (D2D)
D2D implements intentional disruption of the ways scholars learn about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Through curated roundtables, D2D serves as an entry point for essential conversations about race, racism, and the digital divide. We explore the many intersections of identity and social-emotional awareness that impact civic engagement through education.
TEACHERS& Edupreneur Network
TEACHERS & founder, Neferteri Strickland, collaborates with like-minded thought leaders to leverage social capital with educators, entrepreneurs, and edupreneurs in varying industries to provide an on-ramp into the ED Tech and the education service marketplace. The TEACHERS& Edupreneur Network connects education stakeholders who want to leverage talents collaboratively to provide solutions-based STEM education products and services

OUR FOUNDER
Neferteri Strickland
Our founder is a Cybertechnology Strategist, military officer, and adjunct professor who aligns her communities through emerging technology initiatives in K-20 Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) education.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Savannah State University, Master of Professional Studies in Information Assurance and Cybersecurity from The Pennsylvania State University. Over her career she has earned industry certifications as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and a certificate in Higher Education Teaching from Harvard University's Derek Bok Center.
As a Communications Officer in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard, Neferteri directs the integration of fire support assets for combined arms operations.
As an advisor and/or board member, she contributes to DroneVersity, NSF Pathways for Equitable Computer Science Instruction, PA Blockchain Association, the Philadelphia UN SDG Project, and The Library Company of Philadelphia.
At the start of the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic Neferteri launched TEACHERS & the Design to Disrupt community to support education stakeholders navigate the future of education.
She, her loving husband, and two amazing children, reside in the Greater Philadelphia Region where she supports the world’s future leaders as an adjunct professor in Blockchain Technology at Saint Joseph’s University and a lecturer at The Wharton School of Business.
